The announcement included the official title for Daniel Stern, who will be Seattle’s pass game strategist. Stern was a longtime assistant coach under John Harbaugh with the Baltimore Ravens, as was current Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald.

Stern, who has been referred to as one of Harbaugh’s “right-hand men,” was most recently the director of football strategy and assistant quarterbacks coach with the Ravens.

Also new on the staff are inside linebackers coach Zachary Orr, running backs coach/senior offensive assistant Thomas Hammock, and offensive assistant Johnathan Williams, who comes to Seattle after being the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at South Carolina State.

Seattle previously held a press conference introducing Brian Fleury as its new offensive coordinator, replacing Klint Kubiak, who was named the new Las Vegas Raiders head coach shortly after the Seahawks’ Super Bowl win.

The Seahawks also announced multiple new titles for returning coaches.

Tyson Prince is now quarterbacks coach, and offensive passing game coordinator Jake Peetz has also added a quarterbacks coach role to his duties. Offensive line coach John Benton is now also the senior offensive assistant, while Justin Outten is the new offensive run game coordinator. Josh Byrnes is now outside linebackers coach, Chris Partridge has become the defensive run game coordinator, and Kirk Olivadotti is now senior defensive assistant.

Previous Seahawks quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko and run game coordinator/senior offensive advisor Rick Dennison followed Kubiak to Vegas, with Janocko named the offensive coordinator and Dennison made the offensive line coach.
