SEATTLE – Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price missed his second straight training camp practice Saturday with lower body soreness, but head coach Mike Macdonald said the first-round draft pick isn’t expected to be sidelined much longer.

“It’s a minor issue right now,” Macdonald said. “We’ll see. It’s a matter of days, so he’ll be back soon.”

The Seahawks drafted Price with the No. 32 overall pick to help fill the void left by Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, who departed in free agency.

Price has generally split the first-team reps with George Holani throughout camp, with Zach Charbonnet still on the physically unable to perform list as he works back from a torn ACL.

With Price sidelined, Holani and free agent addition Emanuel Wilson split most of the first-team reps in Saturday’s annual “Football Fest” practice at Lumen Field. Velus Jones Jr. typically worked with the second team.

The Seahawks’ first preseason game is Aug. 15 against the Dallas Cowboys.
