Seattle Seahawks are adding a new set of throwback uniforms

The Seattle Seahawks introduced a fan favorite set of throwback uniforms in 2023 when they brought back the classic blue jerseys, silver pants and silver helmets that were used during the team’s first 26 seasons. They’re digging back into their past again for another throwback combo that is sure to make the 12s happy.

At a press conference Wednesday to introduce the Khosla family as the team’s owners following a record $9.612 billion sale from the Paul G. Allen Estate, new vice chair Neal Khosla said the Seahawks will introduce a similar throwback uniform set in 2027 that features a white jersey with the silver pants and helmets.

“I think we will bring those back for 2027, the white throwbacks,” Neal Khosla said.

Fans have been “waiting and asking” for the throwback white jerseys to return ever since the blue and silver throwbacks were added three years ago, according to an article on the official Seahawks website.

As for the current throwbacks, the defending Super-Bowl champion Seahawks are scheduled to wear the blue and silver combination at least three times this season – all in primetime games.

The first will be an Oct. 15 Thursday Night Football matchup in Week 6 on the road in what will be a full-on throwback game against the Denver Broncos, who will wear their 1977 “Orange Crush” throwbacks. The Seahawks have also announced they will wear the throwbacks for home games in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football (Oct. 25) and in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football (Dec. 7).

The Seahawks have additional “Rivalries” alternate uniforms that made their debut last year and will be worn this season in their Week 16 Christmas Day battle in Seattle against the division rival Los Angeles Rams.
