Report: Seahawks re-sign restricted free agent long snapper Stoll

The Seattle Seahawks have reportedly ensured they won’t be losing a key member of their special teams, with NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reporting Wednesday that long snapper Chris Stoll has agreed to a two-year contract.

Stoll was one of the six restricted free agents for the Seahawks entering the offseason.

The 27-year-old Stoll is a Penn State product who initially joined the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

Stoll has played every game for the Seahawks over the past three seasons – 17 apiece in each regular season, plus all three of their playoff games en route to the Super Bowl championship earlier this year.

The 6-foot-2, 255-pound Stoll has two career combined tackles to his name.

Stoll was the second reported re-signing by the Seahawks on Wednesday morning, joining offensive tackle Josh Jones. Seattle has also officially re-signed cornerback Josh Jobe and linebacker Drake Thomas, and reportedly re-signed wide receiver/kick returner Rashid Shaheed.

The Seahawks have not made any outside additions in free agency, while running back Kenneth Walker III (Kansas City), outside linebacker Boye Mafe (Cincinnati), safety Coby Bryant (Chicago) and cornerback Riq Woolen (Philadelphia) have all reportedly found new teams.

The new league year begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday, which is when NFL teams will first be allowed to officially sign outside free agents.
