Over the years, the Seattle Mariners have created many memorable commercials and video promotions.

Why Mariners are well-positioned to make big trade

There was soft-tossing southpaw Jamie Moyer touching 99 kilometers per hour on a French-made radar gun. Ichiro Suzuki exclaiming “Junior!” after Ken Griffey Jr. tricked him into sitting a chair with glue on it. And who can forget Mariners legend Larry Bernandez?

The club dropped another gem Monday. This one involved Cal Raleigh, Logan Gilbert and a lie detector test.

During the latest edition of The Cal Raleigh Show, the M’s slugging catcher shared what he learned from the experience with Seattle Sports Mariners insider Shannon Drayer.

“Not to do anymore videos with Logan, that’s for sure,” Raleigh said with a grin.

Drayer also asked to reigning AL co-player of the week about an answer Gilbert gave that he strongly disagreed with.

“You seemed very hurt that he didn’t seem to believe you were the most fun person at his wedding,” Drayer said.

“Yeah, I definitely was,” Raleigh responded. “It didn’t really hurt me. I was mad cause he knew I know that he knows the truth. So I was the life of the party at his wedding for sure.”

Raleigh also unveiled a fun fact about Gilbert when Drayer mentioned she had heard the catcher is known bust a move or two on the dance floor.

“I’ve heard stories. You can dance a little bit is what I’ve heard,” Drayer said.

“Yeah, sometimes,” Raleigh responded.

“Have I heard the splits might have been involved?” Drayer asked.

“No, that’s him. He does the splits,” Raleigh said.
