NFC Championship Inactives for Seahawks and Rams

Seattle Seahawks rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo, who was activated from injured reserve on Friday, is inactive for Sunday afternoon’s NFC Championship against the Los Angeles Rams.

Rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts (neck) and reserve running back Velus Jones Jr. are also inactive for Seattle. Ouzts was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report, while Jones was a healthy scratch after being elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. That means George Holani and Cam Akers are set to be the Seahawks’ two backup running backs in the wake of Zach Charbonnet’s season-ending torn ACL.

Meanwhile, Seahawks backup left tackle Josh Jones (knee, ankle) is active after being listed as questionable. That gives Seattle an experienced backup behind starting left tackle Charles Cross, who dealt with a foot injury that sidelined him from practice earlier in the week. Rookie third-string left tackle Amari Kight (knee) is inactive after being listed as doubtful.

The Seahawks’ other inactives are rookie third-string quarterback Jalen Milroe, offensive guard Christian Haynes and rookie edge rusher Jared Ivey. Milroe will serve as the emergency third quarterback.

Seahawks-Rams Details: TV, radio and more for NFC Championship

For the Rams, Pro Bowl edge rusher Byron Young (knee) is active after being listed as questionable. He had a team-high 12 sacks in the regular season.

The Rams’ inactives include a pair of former Seahawks in cornerback Derion Kendrick and tight end Nick Vannett. L.A.’s other inactives are wide receiver Tutu Atwell, running back Jarquez Hunter, offensive lineman Beux Limmer, defensive end Larrell Murchison and third-string quarterback Stetson Bennett IV. Bennett will serve as the emergency third quarterback.

Kickoff for Sunday’s NFC Championship between the Seahawks and Rams is set for 3:30 p.m., with radio coverage starting with the pregame show at noon on Seattle Sports 710 AM, KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM, and the Seattle Sports, KIRO Newsradio and official Seahawks apps.
