Woo spun seven-plus scoreless innings of three-hit ball as the Seattle Mariners blanked the Baltimore Orioles 3-0 in the rubber match of a three-game series Thursday afternoon at T-Mobile Park.

Woo, a 2025 All-Star, recorded nine strikeouts and one walk in an ultra-efficient 89-pitch masterpiece. It was the sixth time in 85 career starts that he’s had a scoreless outing of at least seven innings. It was also a strong bounceback for Woo, who allowed a combined 12 runs over his previous two starts.

Woo was donning one of the three pairs of custom cleats he received from Seattle Children’s cancer patients on Wednesday. According to Mariners broadcaster Aaron Goldsmith, a group of patients each got to inscribe their initials and decorate a portion of the cleats.

The Mariners scored all three of their runs in the first inning off Orioles starter Shane Baz. Josh Naylor got things started with a two-out single, Dominic Canzone drew a walk and Cole Young followed with a looping RBI double that landed just inside the left-field line. Colt Emerson then ripped a two-run single into right field to give Seattle an early 3-0 cushion.

Woo surrendered a leadoff single and a walk to open the eighth, but reliever Eduard Bazardo came in and retired the next three batters. Andrés Muñoz then danced around a pair of walks in the ninth to record the save.
