Here’s the Mariners’ lineup for Game 2 of the ALDS

After an extra-inning loss in Game 1 on Saturday night, the Seattle Mariners are tasked with bouncing back against one of MLB’s best pitchers in Game 2 of the American League Division Series on Sunday night at T-Mobile Park.
What’s next for Mariners after tough Game 1 loss
The Mariners are facing Detroit Tigers lefty ace Tarik Skubal, who is widely expected to win his second consecutive AL Cy Young Award after another spectacular season.
Seattle will counter the hard-throwing southpaw with a lineup that includes seven right-handed or switch-hitting bats. It’s the same lineup the Mariners have typically used against lefty starters down the stretch.

Randy Arozarena will lead off, followed by switch-hitting MLB home run leader Cal Raleigh in the No. 2 spot and Julio RodrÃguez in the No. 3 hole. Switch-hitting Jorge Polanco will bat cleanup, followed by Eugenio Suárez at No. 5 and Josh Naylor at No. 6.
Mitch Garver will bat seventh and serve as the designated hitter. Victor Robles will bat eighth and J.P. Crawford will hit ninth.
Veteran right-hander Luis Castillo will start on the mound for Seattle.
The Mariners handed Skubal two of his six losses in the regular season. They tagged the 28-year-old Seattle U product for three runs in 5 2/3 innings at T-Mobile Park on April 2 and then tagged him for four runs in five innings in Detroit on July 11.
RodrÃguez, who homered in Game 1 on Saturday night, blasted a 440-foot, two-run shot off Skubal on July 11. Crawford also has had success in limited matchups against Skubal, going 4 for 5 off the Tigers ace in his career.
Mariners manager Dan Wilson also announced during his pregame press conference that right-hander Logan Gilbert, as expected, will start Game 3 in Detroit.
