Cal Raleigh has collected another record amid his historic season.
The Seattle Mariners’ slugger crushed yet another home run during the sixth inning of Tuesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers at T-Mobile Park. It was Raleigh’s 132nd career home run, which tied Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. for the most in a player’s first five seasons in Mariners history.

What makes the feat even more impressive for Raleigh is he did it in far less games than Griffey did. Raleigh, who played just 47 games and hit two home runs in his first season, reached the mark in his 563rd career game. Griffey did it in his 732nd game.
Raleigh also joined Griffey as the only Mariners to win the Home Run Derby last week.
Raleigh’s solo shot broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the sixth inning and held up as the only run to give the Mariners a 1-0 win over the red-hot Brewers, who were riding an MLB-best 11-game win streak.
Raleigh homered on a 96 mph fastball at the top of the strike zone from Brewers right-hander Nick Mears. The blast traveled 391 feet and came off the bat at 103.1 mph.
This one was Raleigh’s 39th of the season, putting him three in front of both Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge and Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suárez for the MLB lead.
