The Seahawks have finished the preseason with an 0-4 record after falling 30-19 to the Oakland Raiders on Thursday night.

Not that it means much. The Seahawks didn’t play many of their starters as they protected their health with the regular season opener just 10 days away.

Here’s a quarter-by-quarter look at the preseason finale.

First quarter

Raiders 7, Seahawks 0

The Seahawks gave up the lone score of the quarter in surprising fashion – Keon Hatcher appeared to go down after making a reception, but his knee never touched the ground. So the Oakland wideout got up and scampered to the end zone for a 45-yard touchdown.

That wasn’t the only unfortunate sequence for the Seahawks in the first quarter. Left tackle Isaiah Battle was flagged twice for holding on Seattle’s first drive, resulting in him getting pulled back to the sideline. The Seahawks also saw an apparent touchdown pass to Jaron Brown called back due to a penalty.

Rookie sensation Michael Dickson made his first of many appearances on the night, punting 31 yards to the 11 on a fair catch.

OAK – Keon Hatcher 45 pass from E.J. Manuel (Mike Nugent kick), 3:59

Second quarter

Raiders 17, Seahawks 13

The Seahawks made their acquisition of backup quarterback Brett Hundley official earlier Thursday, but Austin Davis did everything in his power to have a job past the preseason, whether it’s with Seattle or elsewhere. Davis completed a beautiful deep ball to Damore’ea Stringfellow, who broke away for an 81-yard score early in the second quarter for the Seahawks’ first score of the day. Near halftime, Davis then orchestrated a nine-play, 82-yard drive that ended in a 1-yard Mike Davis TD run.

Austin Davis finished the half 13 of 20 passing for 194 yards, while Mike Davis had 45 rushing yards on nine carries.

Former Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski missed his first extra-point chance against his former team but hit the second for Seattle.

The defense had a much less fortunate second quarter than the offense, giving up a seven-play, 45-yard touchdown drive capped by a 19-yard Hatcher reception from E.J. Manuel, the second time in the game they connected on a score. The Raiders also got a 51-yard field goal out of Mike Nugent earlier in the frame.

OAK – Nugent 51 FG, 14:19
SEA – Damore’ea Stringfellow 81 pass from Austin Davis (kick failed), 13:58
OAK – Hatcher 19 pass from Manuel (Nugent kick), 2:15
SEA – Mike Davis 1 run (Sebastian Janikowski kick), :26

Third quarter

Raiders 23, Seahawks 13

Alex McGough showed why the Seahawks used a draft pick on him with an impressive throw out of the pocket about 50 yards through the air to Malik Turner. The only problem: Turner’s foot was out of bounds when he caught it, otherwise the Seahawks would have had a touchdown. After that play, originally ruled a 52-yard score, was overturned on a challenge, the Seahawks were forced to punt for the first of three times in the third quarter.

Meanwhile on defense, another forgettable moment was added to a forgettable day on that side of the ball for the Seahawks. Seattle safety Delano Hill looked to have Oakland wide receiver Saeed Blacknall squared up, only for Blacknall to spin out and finish off a 45-yard touchdown pass from E.J. Manuel with 5:17 left in the third.

OAK – Saeed Blacknall 45 pass from Manuel (kick failed), 23-13

Fourth quarter

Raiders 30, Seahawks 19

Keon Hatcher continued his big night at CenturyLink Field for the Raiders, catching his third touchdown pass of the night, a 22-yarder from Connor Cook with 5:55 left that put the score out of reach for Seattle.

The highlight for the Seahawks in the final quarter was an 18-yard run by McGough, their longest rush of the night, followed immediately by an 11-yard run by McGough for another first down. That helped set up a 10-yard touchdown pass from McGough to Kyle Carter, but Janikowski missed his second PAT attempt of the night, no doubt a worrisome development for the Seahawks after all their issues in the kicking game in 2017.

OAK – Hatcher 22 pass from Connor Cook (Nugent kick), 5:55
SEA – Kyle Carter 10 pass from Alex McGough (kick failed), 3:11
