In a corresponding move, reliever Nick Davila was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma.

The move with Wilcox comes a day after the right-hander had to be removed from his relief appearance against the Detroit Tigers mid at-bat.

Wilcox had allowed three runs and recorded two outs in the top of the seventh before grabbing at his side after throwing a pitch and gingerly walking off the mound. After a meeting with a team trainer, he was pulled from the game in a 1-2 count.
