While speaking to the media following Wednesday’s mandatory minicamp practice, Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald was asked for injury updates on a handful of players. Here’s a recap of what he said.

• Macdonald said running back Zach Charbonnet continues to do a “great job” in his recovery from the torn ACL he suffered in Seattle’s divisional round playoff win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Charbonnet, who underwent surgery on Feb. 20, did some conditioning work during Tuesday’s minicamp practice, according to The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta.
“Doing a great job,” Macdonald said. “Doing a great job. I know he has high expectations for himself and we look forward to see where it ends up.”
Asked if there’s a chance Charbonnet could be ready by the start of the season, Macdonald smiled and said, “Everything’s possible.”
• Macdonald said wide receiver Tory Horton will remain sidelined through Thursday’s final minicamp practice, but that the team is optimistic he can return by the early part of training camp, which begins July 25.
Horton, who had five touchdown catches and a punt return TD over his first eight career games, missed the second half of his rookie season last fall after suffering a shin injury in Week 9. He underwent surgery in the offseason.
During OTAs last month, Macdonald said Horton had recently received some “good news” that could speed up his recovery timeline.
“Still all positive with Tory,” Macdonald said. “… We should be looking at early on in camp, if not the beginning of camp. If we stay on schedule and everything goes well, we’ll be praying that he can be out there.
“You’ve gotta be smart in how he comes back and all that, but he should be active within, I don’t want to put a timetable on it, (but) it could be anywhere from day one he’s rocking and rolling, or maybe it’s (within) a couple of days. We’ll see.”
• Macdonald said tight ends AJ Barner and Elijah Arroyo are “working through some stuff,” but that the outlook is “positive for training camp.”
“Just taking care of them right now,” Macdonald said.
Barner played through a handful of injuries during his breakout 519-yard, six-touchdown campaign this past season. Though Barner didn’t miss any games, he appeared on the injury report with six different injuries over the final nine weeks of the regular season.
Arroyo missed the final four games of the regular season and Seattle’s first two playoff games with a knee injury before returning to play in the Super Bowl.
• Macdonald said running back Kenny McIntosh is “coming along” in his recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered early in training camp last July.
“We’ll see come training camp time how we handle it, but he’s coming along,” Macdonald said.
