Seahawks draft 3 players in 7th round, including 2 CBs

The Seattle Seahawks wrapped up their 2026 NFL Draft by selecting two cornerbacks and a defensive tackle with their trio of seventh-round picks.

The Seattle Seahawks capped their 2026 NFL Draft with a trio of picks in the seventh round on Saturday.

Seattle took Toledo cornerback Andre Fuller with the No. 236 overall pick, Minnesota defensive tackle Deven Eastern at pick No. 242 and Arizona cornerback Michael Dansby at pick No. 255. The Seahawks acquired those three picks as a result of several trades.

Here’s a look at all three players.

• Round 7, pick No. 236: Andre Fuller, CB, Toledo

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Fuller recorded an interception, 11 pass breakups and 2.5 tackles for loss for Toledo last season, which earned him first-team All-Mid-American Conference honors.

Fuller began his college career by spending two seasons at FCS-level Arkansas Pine-Bluff, where had three interceptions, a pick-six, 14 pass breakups, a sack and three tackles for loss in 2021. He then transferred to Toledo and spent his final four college seasons with the Rockets.

Fuller spent his first two seasons at Toledo as a reserve, totaling a combined five pass breakups and a sack in 2022 and 2023. He then missed the 2024 season with an injury before rebounding with a strong 2025 campaign.

A native of Loxahatchee, Fla., Fuller is ranked by ESPN as the No. 31 cornerback and No. 311 overall prospect in this year’s draft class.

Here’s what NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein wrote about Fuller in his scouting report:

Fuller is a long press corner with NFL-caliber size and strength. He’s capable of delaying and redirecting the release but a lack of make-up speed creates problems when he gets out of the gate poorly against speed in man coverage. Fuller might need the scheme to do some of the cover work for him. Cover 2 and deep-zone coverages allow for the best use of Fuller’s size and length, while minimizing pattern-matching in space. If he can become a more dedicated tackler, a conversion to safety could be a consideration.

• Round 7, pick No. 242: Deven Eastern, DT, Minnesota

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Eastern is the first defensive lineman taken by the Seahawks in this year’s class.

Eastern was a three-year starter for the Golden Gophers and spent his entire college career at Minnesota. In 45 games in his three years as a starter, he registered 11 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, five passes defended and two forced fumbles.

The Shakopee, Minn., native posted at least five tackles for loss, two sacks and one forced fumbles in each of the past two seasons, which included earning an All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2025.

At the combine, Eastern’s measured in with 34-inch arms, tied for the eighth longest among 32 defensive linemen at the combine.

ESPN ranked Eastern as the 33rd defensive tackle and 342nd overall prospect in the draft.

Here’s what NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein wrote about Eastern in his draft profile:

Three-year starter with a long wingspan but inconsistencies in his game and a lack of standout production. Eastern plays with loose upper-body movement that helps him slip blocks and find gaps. He uses his length effectively to disengage when he times it right. However, his high-cut frame and below-average pad level create persistent issues anchoring and maintaining gap integrity, especially against zone blocks. He ends up on the ground too often and hasn’t proven he can create consistent pressure as a rusher. Eastern’s size and length might be best utilized in a wider alignment as an odd-front end.

• Round 7, pick No. 255: Michael Dansby, CB, Arizona

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Dansby totaled seven interceptions, a pick-six, 25 pass breakups and three tackles for loss over a four-year college career at San Jose State and Arizona.

In his lone season at Arizona in 2025, Dansby had two interceptions and 10 pass breakups. Prior to that, the Oakland native had a combined five interceptions, a pick-six and 15 pass breakups over his three seasons at San Jose State.
