LISTEN:

Under normal circumstances, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend wouldn’t be the types of guests you’d expect to hear on a drive-time sports radio show. But the supermodel and her Grammy Award-winning husband appeared on 710 ESPN Seattle on Tuesday as part of “6 Degrees of Danny, Dave and Moore,” a contest that will award Seahawks season tickets to the listener who can get the highest-ranked out of 99 celebrities to call into the station.

Teigen became the first celebrity of the contest to call in – doing so with Legend from a hotel bar in Paris, no less. You can listen to the conversation here.

As it turns out, Teigen is from the area.

“I’m from Snohomish, Washington, yes,” she said. “I went to Snohomish High School. I dated a guy from Lake Stevens. I mean, I am as Seattle as it gets.”

And as such, she’s a big Seahawks fan. Legend, an Ohio native, temporarily suspended his allegiance to the Browns while watching the Super Bowl with Teigen. And get this – he said she somehow saw the crazy finish coming.

“But I will say that I did root for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, and we were both heartbroken by the play at the end of the game,” Legend said. “And Chrissy actually predicted that the Seahawks would make a historically significant error at the end of the game. She predicted it like within the last few minutes and she was right.”

Was Teigen screaming for Seattle to hand off to Marshawn Lynch?

“I was,” Legend said with a laugh. “I was.”

You can read more about “6 Degrees of Danny, Dave and Moore” on the contest page.
