Seattle Seahawks rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts and linebacker Chazz Surratt are inactive for Super Bowl LX against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The paths to victory for Seahawks and Patriots
Ouzts, who was questionable with a neck injury, was the only Seahawks player carrying an injury designation into the game. Surratt, a key special teams player, was designated to return to practice from injured reserve Jan. 13, but has not been activated for a game since.
The remaining five inactive players for Seattle are quarterback Jalen Milroe, tackle/guard Mason Richman, tight end Nick Kallerup, nose tackle Brandon Pili and linebacker Jared Ivey.
Milroe will serve as the Seahawks’ emergency third quarterback.
Linebackers Harold Landry (knee) and Robert Spillane (ankle) are both active for the Patriots after carrying questionable designations into the game.
Landry is one of New England’s top pass rushers, recording 8.5 sacks in 17 games including the playoffs. Spillane has 111 total tackles, four tackles for loss and two interceptions in 16 games including the postseason.
Defensive lineman Joshua Farmer (hamstring) is also active after having a questionable designation.
Wide receiver Efton Chism III, a Monroe High School and Eastern Washington University product, is among the Patriots’ seven inactives. Also on the list are quarterback Tommy Devito, tight end C.J. Dippre, offensive tackle Marcus Bryant, guard Caedan Wallace, outside linebacker Bradyn Swinson and cornerback Kobee Minor.
Devito will serve as New England’s emergency third quarterback.
