But due to the NFL’s scheduling format, Seattle’s opponents have been set in stone since the conclusion of the 2024 regular season.

So, based solely on who the Seahawks face this year, how difficult is their schedule?

One way to measure that is by looking at the combined 2024 win percentages of a team’s opponents. It’s obviously not a perfect measurement, as teams can vary greatly from year to year due to roster turnover, injuries and a whole slew of other factors. However, it can provide at least a general ballpark view of a team’s approximate strength of schedule.

According to a social media post from the NFL last week, the Seahawks’ 2025 schedule is tied for the 21st-hardest with a combined .474 opponents’ win percentage. For context, Seattle’s schedule last year was tied for the 18th-hardest with a .498 opponents’ win percentage, according to NFL GSIS.

The biggest reason for the Seahawks potentially having one of the league’s easier schedules this season? Seattle, along with each of its NFC West rivals, will play eight of its 17 games against the NFC South and AFC South. The NFC South and AFC South were the two worst divisions in the league last year, combining for just a 53-83 record and a .390 win percentage.

Here are a few more notes about Seattle’s 2025 strength of schedule:

• The Seahawks have seven games against teams with winning records last season: vs. the Vikings (14-3), at the Commanders (12-5), vs. the Rams (10-7), at the Rams (10-7), vs. the Buccaneers (10-7), vs. the Texans (10-7) and at the Steelers (10-7).

• The Seahawks face just two of the nine teams that finished with 11-plus wins last year.

• The Seahawks have 10 games against teams with losing records last season: vs. the Cardinals (8-9), at the Cardinals (8-9), at the Falcons (8-9), vs. the Colts (8-9), vs. the 49ers (6-11), at the 49ers (6-11), vs. the Saints (5-12), at the Panthers (5-12), at the Jaguars (4-13) and at the Titans (3-14).

• Seattle faces four of the 10 teams that finished with five or fewer wins last year. All four of those teams are from the NFC South and AFC South.
