Seahawks sign Jadarian Price to complete draft class

The Seattle Seahawks have wrapped up an important order of offseason business: signing their entire NFL Draft class.

NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero reported Friday afternoon that the Seahawks and their first-round pick, running back Jadarian Price, had agreed to terms. The Seahawks officially announced the signing a few hours later.

The Seahawks signed second-round safety Bud Clark on May 13, leaving the team only needing to get pen to paper with Price to complete their eight-player draft class.

Per Pelissero, Price would be the 19th of the NFL’s 32 first-round picks to sign with their teams.

Price was the final pick of the first round in the draft last month at No. 32 overall. He was the second running back off of the board, following only the player he backed up in college at Notre Dame, Jeremiyah Love, who also landed in the NFC West by going at No. 3 to the Arizona Cardinals.

Price rushed for 674 yards on 113 carries (6.0 yards per attempt) and a career-high 11 touchdowns last season in a part-time role with the Fighting Irish.

The Seahawks had an immediate need for a first-string running back after Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III left in free agency for the Kansas City Chiefs. Seattle also has Zach Charbonnet at the position, but he’s expected to miss at least part of the 2026 season as he works back from surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered in Seattle’s divisional round playoff win over the San Francisco 49ers.
