Okada out, 2 questionable for Seahawks vs Cardinals

The Seattle Seahawks ruled out safety Ty Okada (hamstring) and listed safety Nick Emmanwori (ankle, hip) and right guard Anthony Bradford (knee, hip) as questionable for Sunday’s Week 2 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Seattle already ruled out quarterback Sam Darnold (glute) earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Tory Horton (hamstring) is set to play for the first time since Week 9 of last season. He missed the second half of last season with a cracked tibia and missed last week’s opener after sustaining a hamstring injury in training camp.

Okada is out for the second straight game after being sidelined from practice all week. Rodney Thomas II figures to be elevated off the practice squad or signed to the 53-man roster to start in his place again after a strong performance in the opener.

Emmanwori, who also missed last week’s opener, is questionable for the second straight week as he continues to work back from July ankle surgery. Emmanwori is now also dealing with a hip issue, which was a new addition to this week’s injury report. The 2025 AP Defensive Player of the Year runner-up was limited in practice all week.

Bradford didn’t practice on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. If Bradford is out Sunday, head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed that backup Christian Haynes would be in line to start at right guard. Haynes, a 2024 third-round draft pick, played 167 offensive snaps as a rookie, but just 32 last season.

Cardinals injury report

Arizona listed four starters as questionable: right guard Isaiah Adams (knee), left guard Isaac Seumalo (shoulder), defensive tackle Roy Lopez (groin) and cornerback Max Melton (ankle).

The Cardinals ruled out backup cornerback Garrett Williams (Achilles) and listed backup defensive tackle Andrew Billings (knee) as questionable.
