When the Seahawks started their opening offensive series on Sunday in Green Bay, they made a concerted effort to get rookie running back Chris Carson involved. Quarterback Russell Wilson was set to target Carson on a pass downfield, and it was up to Carson to find space created by tight end Jimmy Graham to get open.
He didn’t, Wilson ended up under pressure and had to throw the ball away, and the Seahawks failed to set the tone in their 17-9 loss to the Packers by going three-and-out on that drive.
