Amid a slew of expected transfer portal departures, the UW Huskies men’s basketball team landed its first transfer portal addition of the offseason.

Parker Friedrichsen, a 6-foot-3 guard who spent his 2025-26 junior season at Davidson, announced on social media Sunday night that he’s transferring to the Huskies.

Friedrichsen was Davidson’s third-leading scorer this past season, averaging 10.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He shot 40.5% from 3-point range for the Wildcats, who went 20-14 and finished sixth out of 14 teams in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Friedrichsen, a four-star high school recruit out of Bixby, Okla., spent his first two college seasons at Wake Forest. He averaged 4.2 points and 16.4 minutes per game over his two years with the Demon Deacons before transferring to Davidson.

According to 247Sports, the Huskies currently have five players from their 2025-26 team who have entered the transfer portal: guard Zoom Diallo, guard Desmond Claude, guard JJ Mandaquit, guard Courtland Muldrew and forward Christian Nitu.
