Sunday’s season finale marks the end of an era for the Seattle Mariners and their fans as longtime voice Rick Rizzs will call the final game of his career on the Mariners Radio Network.

Drayer: How sweet it was – 41 years of Rick Rizzs as Mariners’ voice of summer and hope

Rizzs, who has spent 41 years on the call for M’s games and 52 total years as a pro baseball broadcaster, is retiring after this season, and he will be inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame next year.

During his final week in the booth, Rizzs joined Seattle Sports M’s insider Shannon Drayer for a walk around T-Mobile Park that sparked many memories from the legendary broadcaster’s career.

Some of the highlights included:
