All the ways to celebrate Rick Rizzs in his final series as voice of the Mariners

The final series of the legendary Rick Rizzs as radio voice of the Seattle Mariners is here.

Iconic broadcaster Rick Rizzs will go in Mariners Hall of Fame in 2027

Rizzs will be on the Seattle Sports call of the Mariners’ four-game series to close out the 2026 season at T-Mobile Park that starts Thursday night. In addition to being able to hear his final innings on the broadcast, there are a number of things happening around the ballpark and on the air to celebrate his 41 seasons on the microphone for the Mariners.

Here’s a look at what’s happening this weekend.

Mariners’ Cal Raleigh reveals special Rizzs chest protector he will wear

On the air

• Rizzs joined Seattle Sports’ Brock and Salk at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. You can listen at this link or in the player below.

• Rizzs will be a special guest on The Cal Raleigh Show at 4 p.m. Thursday during Seattle Sports’ Wyman and Bob.

• The Rick Rizzs Show on Seattle’s Morning News on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM will air at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

• Rizzs will join Wyman and Bob live in person at Edgar’s Cantina in T-Mobile Park at 5 p.m. before Friday’s game.

In the ballpark

Rick Rizzs Farewell Weekend will take place Friday through Sunday during the Mariners’ games against the Angels at T-Mobile Park.

• Friday: Rick Rizzs Fireworks Night – A postgame fireworks show honoring Rizzs will be open to all fans in attendance after the game.

• Saturday: Rizzs will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

• Sunday: All fans will receive a Rick Rizzs placard for his final game on the call. Additionally, fans can buy special tickets that come with a Rick Rizzs T-shirt Mariners.com/RickRizzs. Please note, the deadline to buy tickets for the T-shirt giveaway is 5 p.m. Friday.
