If Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game goes to a tiebreaker, Seattle Mariners left fielder Randy Arozarena will be one of the players determining the outcome.

Arozarena was one of three American League players selected by manager John Schneider to compete in a potential swing off, which will take place to determine a winner if the game is tied after nine innings.

Arozarena was selected for the AL squad alongside Boston Red Sox first baseman Willson Contreras and Chicago White Sox first baseman Munetaka Murakami. Home Run Derby winner Jordan Walker of the St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies catcher Hunter Goodman and Washington Nationals outfielder James Wood are the NL’s picks for a potential swing off.

If a swing off does occur, the three batters from each team will get three swings apiece and the team with the most home runs at the end will win the game. If there is still a tie after the swing off, each team’s manager will pick one batter to take three more swings.

Last year’s All-Star game featured the first-ever swing off, which the NL won 4-3 thanks to three homers in three swings from Philadelphia’s Kyle Schwarber. Arozarena was also a participant in last year’s swing off and hit one homer.

The 31-year-old Arozarena, who is making his third All-Star appearance and second straight, is the Mariners’ only All-Star this season. He’s batting .286 with an .838 OPS, 11 homers, 21 doubles and 19 stolen bases in 89 games. The left fielder leads Seattle in batting average, on-base percentage (.380), hits (93), runs scored (59), doubles, RBIs (45) and stolen bases.
