The Seattle Mariners will be featured twice this season on one of the newer national broadcast formats in baseball.

Roku has announced the 2025 schedule for MLB Sunday Leadoff, which will broadcast 18 games throughout the season.

The list includes a pair of Mariners games, both on the road. They are:

• Sunday, July 27: Seattle Mariners at Los Angeles Angels (1:07 p.m.)
• Sunday, Sept. 7: Seattle Mariners at Atlanta Braves (10:35 a.m.)

This brings the known Mariners games on national broadcasts in 2025 to three. Last year, it was announced that the M’s would take on the New York Mets on Sunday, Aug. 17 in the 2025 Little League Classic from Williamsport, Penn., on ESPN. That will mark the second straight year that the Mariners play a Sunday Night Baseball game on ESPN after going 20 years between games on the long-running series.

While Roku is best known for its streaming devices, viewers do not need one to watch the Roku Channel, which is where the Sunday Leadoff games will be found. The free channel can be accessed online or by downloading an app.

Roku Sunday Leadoff games will also be available on the MLB.TV service to subscribers, with no local blackouts.

Sunday Leadoff debuted in 2024 after MLB and Roku agreed to a multiyear deal.

Meanwhile, ESPN and MLB’s long partnership appears to be at an end, with ESPN reportedly telling the league this week it plans to opt out of the final three years of a contract after this season, per The Associated Press. Both ESPN and MLB made statements Thursday that confirmed their rights deal is ending after 2025.

The Mariners are likely to be featured on other national MLB broadcasts this season that have yet to be announced, such as on FOX and FS1’s Saturday coverage, and the Friday Night Baseball series on Apple TV+.

All Seattle Mariners games that aren’t nationally televised or streamed during the regular season air on ROOT Sports Northwest.

Mariners announce new radio, TV broadcast teams for 2025

Radio coverage of all M’s games air live on the Mariners Radio Network, which includes flagship station Seattle Sports 710 AM. All games also stream for free on the Seattle Sports app for listeners in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia and Alaska.
