Huard’s Chalk Talk: Wilson to Baldwin converts Seahawks’ 2-point play

The 2-point conversion is a big part of the game in the NFL, but you still don’t see it all that often. So what’s the key to converting the all-or-nothing play goal-line play from the 2-yard line?

Brock Huard of 710 ESPN Seattle explains what the Seahawks did to convert a 2-pointer in their 46-18 victory over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday at CenturyLink Field in his latest Chalk Talk video, embedded above.

On the play, quarterback Russell Wilson was able to connect with Doug Baldwin for the score. But as Huard points out, it was another receiver, Tyler Lockett, whose route-running made a big contribution to set up the completion.
