The Seahawks’ injury situation did not get worse on Sunday.

Players to watch in Seahawks’ home opener against Cowboys

In fact, Seattle got good news as center Justin Britt and linebacker Mychal Kendricks are active after being listed as questionable. Britt suffered a shoulder injury fighting for a fumble on Monday in Chicago and was not able to practice all week. Kendricks hurt his foot during Thursday’s practice, and while coach Pete Carroll was optimistic that Kendricks would play during his media briefing Friday, no one was certain.

Earl Thomas, who did not practice on Friday because of personal reasons, is also active.

Seattle’s inactive players are running back C.J. Prosise, safety Delano Hill, guard Ethan Pocic (ankle), linebacker K.J. Wright (knee), wide receiver Doug Baldwin (knee), guard Jordan Simmons and defensive lineman Poona Ford.
