Huard’s Chalk Talk: All but one thing goes right for Seahawks in red zone

The Seahawks stormed right down the field on their first offensive series in Sunday’s 12-9 win over the 49ers, but they were only able to put up three points on that particular trip to the red zone.
In his latest Chalk Talk video, 710 ESPN Seattle’s Brock Huard takes a look at a second-and-goal play on that drive where seemingly everything went the way the Seahawks wanted it to. Everything except catch the ball, which running back C.J. Prosise couldn’t do on a pass from quarterback Russell Wilson.
Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell has received a lot of criticism for the Seahawks’ slow start on offense to the 2017 season, but as Huard explains, it isn’t always his play calling that is deserving of blame when Seattle doesn’t find the end zone.
