Stacy Rost looks at two numbers to know heading into Seattle's matchup against the Chargers.

After suffering their first loss since last November, the Seattle Seahawks look to bounce back against the winless Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Heading into the matchup, here are two numbers to know.

PFF analyst calls for patience with Seahawks’ run game

• 0 – Both teams have a turnover differential of zero. The Seahawks’ defense has four interceptions, which is tied for first in the league, but their offense has turned the ball over four times. The Chargers’ defense has given their offense some opportunities, but much like Seattle did in Week 3, the offense has given those opportunities right back to the opponent. I wouldn’t say the Seahawks have a turnover problem this season, but we’re all keeping our eyes on Jadarian Price to see if he fumbles again. Hopefully he doesn’t. We’re all keeping our eyes on Sam Darnold to make sure he can protect the football and not throw a pick-six like he did last week. And this offense, when they get rolling, can be really special. But that number, as far as giveaways for the offense, better be zero in Week 4. Likewise, the defense has to generate turnovers.

• 6 – You will never guess how many fumbles the Chargers had in Week 3. Six. Six fumbles. It was their most in a game since 1987. Now, they recovered five of them. They didn’t actually turn the ball over six times. But this is why I bring it up: The Chargers’ offense is still figuring itself out. And that includes Justin Herbert, who has an interception in at least every single game this year. So hopefully that’s something the Seahawks’ defense can take advantage of in Week 4.
