Thursday night games are the toughest of the NFL season to get through unscathed, and the Seahawks are certainly worse for wear after their Week 15 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll had three notable updates of varying levels of concern following the 21-13 defeat at Lumen Field, which came just four days after their previous game.

Atop the list is wide receiver Tyler Lockett, who left the game late in the second half. Carroll told reporters during his postgame press conference that Lockett has a broken bone in his index finger and that surgery is a possibility.

Carroll added that Lockett, who according to Seattle Sports’ Curtis Rogers has only missed one regular season game in his career due to injury, told him he hopes to be back in action in two weeks.

Lockett had a team-high 68 receiving yards on seven receptions Thursday night.

Next is the most serious injury. Carroll said that defensive tackle Bryan Mone, who was carted off the field in the first half, has a “significant” ACL injury. That almost assuredly means the end of Mone’s season. Seattle was already short at defensive tackle before Mone’s injury with Al Woods on the inactive list Thursday due to an injured Achilles.

Finally, linebacker Jordyn Brooks left Thursday’s game in the second half with a neck injury. Carroll had the least to share on his status, stating only that he knew Brooks’ neck was sore.

The Seahawks (7-7) at least get the benefit of extra rest before their next game. Their opponent, though, will be anything but easy, as they will head to Kansas City for a 10 a.m. game on Saturday, Dec. 24 against the AFC West-leading Chiefs (10-3).

Rost: Big play never comes for Seahawks in loss to 49ers
