Carroll Show: Bryant, Kearse game-time decisions

A pair of key players will be game-time decisions for the Seahawks for their big Week-17 matchup against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
Defensive end Red Bryant (sore knee) and wide receiver Jermaine Kearse (ankle sprain) are both dealing with injuries that could hold them out for the final regular season game, coach Pete Carroll told “The Morning News” on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM Friday.
“We got a couple guys that will go up to game time, see how they are. Red Bryant’s a little hobbled here late in the week, but we’ll see how he is at game time, and Jermaine Kearse is kind of similar,” Carroll said. “For the most part we’re in good shape, and there’s a chance those guys will both make it, but we won’t know until Sunday.”
As for wide receiver Percy Harvin, who has played only once this season and is still battling soreness in his surgically repaired hip, Carroll said his status is unchanged.
“He’s still in the same mode he’s been in, and not able to get out there yet,” Carroll said. “That’s kind of the way it’s been for some time now, so there’s no change there.”
Carroll said earlier in the week that the Seahawks could make a roster move with Harvin, hinting at a possible trip to the injured reserve that would effectively rule out any chance of Harvin appearing in the postseason.
