Seattle Sports is the home of the Seahawks and it’s also home to a new exclusive show that begins next week.
Seahawks general manager John Schneider will hit the Seattle Sports airwaves weekly beginning Thursday for the first-ever John Schneider Show.
The John Schneider Show will air every Thursday from Feb. 16 through April 27 – the first day of the 2023 NFL Draft – at 4 p.m.
Schneider will join former Seahawks linebacker and current radio analyst Dave Wyman and co-host Bob Stelton on Wyman and Bob. In total, there will be 10 John Schneider Shows between next week and Day 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Schneider has been the Seahawks’ general manager since 2010, joining the organization along with head coach Pete Carroll that offseason. In his 13 years as Seahawks GM, Schneider has helped guide Seattle to 10 playoff appearances, five NFC West titles, two NFC Championships and the franchise’s lone Super Bowl championship.
Among Schneider’s duties as GM is running the team’s draft. This year is arguably the biggest draft in franchise history.
Seattle has not one, but two first-round picks, including the No. 5 overall selection after last offseason’s blockbuster trade with the Denver Broncos. Also due to that trade, the Hawks have two second-round picks.
As the draft order currently stands, Seattle will pick four times in the first 53 selections and five times in the first 84 selections and nine times overall.
As Schneider and the Hawks’ front office and scouts work through their top draft targets, he will be joining Wyman and Bob leading up to the big event in April.
Wyman and Bob airs every weekday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Seattle Sports. During the Seahawks season, you can hear Wyman call the action with Steve Raible on Seattle Sports, KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM, the Seahawks App and the Seahawks Radio Network. Schneider also has a pregame interview ahead of every game with Raible.
