Recalled from Triple-A Tacoma earlier in the afternoon, Stefen Romero is playing first base and hitting sixth for the Mariners in the opener of their three-game series with the Brewers at Safeco Field.
That will begin at 7:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle, with pregame coverage starting at 6.
Shawn O’Malley will lead off against Brewers left-hander Brent Suter, who will be making his MLB debut.
