Seattle will host one of the biggest matches in United States men’s soccer history on Monday night, when the Americans face Belgium in a round-of-16 World Cup knockout match. With a victory, the U.S. would advance to the World Cup quarterfinals for just the second time ever – and the first time since 2002.

To no surprise, fans will have to dig deep into their wallets for a chance to witness the action in person. As of mid-afternoon on Sunday, the get-in price for Monday night’s match was $1,715, according to TicketData.com.

That’s actually down from where the get-in price was in recent weeks. It peaked at $3,925 on June 21, then dipped to around $1,476 on June 29 before spiking back up to $3,059 last Wednesday night – immediately after the U.S. punched its ticket to Seattle with a 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the round of 32.

Since that spike last Wednesday night, the get-in price had been on a relatively steady decline. It dropped to $1,283 on Sunday morning before experiencing a slight uptick as the day went on.

Monday night’s U.S.-Belgium match is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. at Lumen Field – or Seattle Stadium, as it’s been temporarily renamed for the tournament.

World Cup bracket

This is the sixth and final World Cup match that Seattle is hosting – and the second that features the United States. The Americans beat Australia 2-0 in their second group match on June 19. The get-in price for that match closed at $1,758. The final get-in prices for Seattle’s other matches ranged between $355 and $662.

For context, the final get-in price for the NFC Championship Game between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams this past January at Lumen Field was $1,013.

The U.S.-Belgium match is currently the second-most expensive round-of-16 match in terms of get-in price. The most expensive round-of-16 match is the Mexico-England showdown Sunday night in Mexico City, which closed with a get-in price of $4,894. The World Cup final on July 19 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, currently has a get-in price of $9,749.
