Several plays and sequences throughout the course of Sunday’s showdown proved to be key to Seattle’s win. Here’s a look at the moments that led the Seahawks victory in Super Bowl LX.
• Kupp’s sideline catch
Cooper Kupp is no stranger to making big plays in the Super Bowl, so it was perhaps fitting that the Yakima native came up with the first big play for the Seahawks.
Kupp was able to hold on through contact to make a difficult 23-yard sideline grab that brought the Seahawks inside the red zone and set up Jason Myers for a field goal to take a 3-0 lead on the game’s opening drive.

• Hall’s sack on first Pats drive
After the Seahawks scored on the opening drive, the Patriots’ offense was able to start moving the ball down the field with a pair of first downs to get into Seahawks territory. However, Derick Hall made sure the drive wouldn’t go any further.
Hall was able to bull through Patriots left tackle Will Campbell and drag down quarterback Drake Maye for a 10-yard sack that helped lead to a Patriots punt. It was a sign of what was to come for Maye and Pats for the rest of the game.

• Walker runs wild
After both teams traded punts over the course of five consecutive drives, running back Kenneth Walker III got the Seahawks’ offense going with a pair of electric runs to set up a field goal in the second quarter.
Walker was able to find the edge on an outside run to the left, eluded a pair of tackles and tip-toed the sideline on his way to a 30-yard gain.

Two players later, Seattle’s offensive line cleared a hole on the right side and Walker raced for a 29-yard gain.

Myers later connected on a 39-yard field goal to go up 6-0 with 11:20 remaining in the half.
The runs helped Walker become just the third player ever to have multiple runs of at least 25 yards in a Super Bowl, per ESPN Insights.
• Flipping the field
It’s not often that a punt is a standout play, but it was in a low-scoring first half.
Michael Dickson unleashed a punt that bounced inside the Patriots’ 5-yard line and Velus Jones Jr. downed it at the 2. It ultimately led to a Patriots punt inside their own 20, which allowed the Seahawks a short enough field to get in range for a 41-yard field goal to go up 9-0 just before the half.

• Hall’s strip sack
For as dominant as the Seahawks’ defense was throughout the first half, it wasn’t able to force the Patriots into any turnovers. Hall changed that late in the third quarter.
With the Patriots facing a third-and-9 near midfield, Hall came crashing in off the edge to strip Maye, and Byron Murphy II recovered to set up what came next.
HUGE STOP. HUGE TURNOVER.

• Barner widens Seahawks’ lead
Entering the fourth quarter, the Patriots were still just one score away from it being an uncomfortably close game for the Seahawks. But Sam Darnold and AJ Barner were able to make the lead a little more comfortable.
Seattle dialed up a play-action pass inside the red zone and New England’s defense forgot all about Barner, who was wide open as he hauled in a 16-yard TD to go up 19-0 with 12:24 left the play. It was the first touchdown of the game and the only one for Seattle’s offense.

• Dickson and Jones do it again
After the Patriots answered Barner’s TD with their first score of the game, a 35-yard TD pass from Maye to Mack Hollins, New England forced a quick punt and appeared to be gaining some momentum late. But Dickson and Jones made their comeback attempt harder with another beautifully executed punt.
This time Dickson uncorked a high punt that bounced near the 20 and Jones was able to chase it down and bat backwards before it went into the end zone, allowing Seattle to down the ball at the 1-yard line to set New England up with as long a field as possible down two scores with 10:40 left in the game.

• Love seals the deal
After the getting the ball with less-than-ideal field position, Maye and Patriots neared midfield looking to pull within one score. On second-and-3, Maye stepped up in the pocket and launched a deep pass down the middle where safety Julian Love was waiting to secure an interception and run it back 35 yards to New England’s 38-yard line, setting up Myers’ Super Bowl-record fifth made field goal to go up 22-7.

• Nwosu adds the exclamation mark
The Seahawks’ Dark Side defense delivered a signature play to put an exclamation point on the franchise’s second Super Bowl title.
Cornerback Devon Witherspoon went untouched on a blitz and delivered a hit on Maye as he threw. The hit forced a wild throw that went sideways to nearby edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu, who snagged the ball out of the air and sprinted 45 yards for a pick-six to go up 29-7 with 4:27 left in the game.
It was the first TD of Nwosu’s eight-year NFL career.
