Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price returned to practice Monday after being sidelined with lower body soreness for most of the past week and a half.

Price, a first-round draft pick, took part in two walkthroughs last week but had missed five consecutive non-walkthrough practices. Monday was his first non-walkthrough practice since Aug. 5.

According to The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta, the Seahawks went full speed on Monday, but they were not in full pads. For Price, the next step will be participating in a fully padded practice.

“He’s just like any other return to play guy,” Seahawks head coach Macdonald said after Monday’s practice. “He’s on his return plan. It’s good to see him out there.”

Here are some more Seahawks injury updates:

• Macdonald had no update Monday on standout safety/linebacker Nick Emmanwori, who is working back from ankle surgery last month. The 2025 Defensive Rookie of the Year runner-up remains on the physically unable to perform list, but passed his physical on Aug. 11, which marked an important step in his recovery.

• Edge rusher Derick Hall remained sidelined Monday after exiting practice with an injury on Aug. 11, according to Condotta. Macdonald said last Friday that Hall’s injury “shouldn’t be long-term.”

• Rookie cornerback Julian Neal, a third-round pick, has missed nearly all of training camp with an undisclosed injury that Macdonald has termed a “shorter-term” issue. Neal was in pads when Monday’s practice began, but didn’t participate in team drills, according to Condotta.

“He’s working his way back now, but no new timetable or anything,” Macdonald said.

• Wide receiver Tory Horton reportedly missed practice Monday. Macdonald said he’s “working through some things.”

• Running back Emanuel Wilson remained sidelined Monday with an undisclosed injury, according to Condotta. He reportedly suffered the injury on Aug. 11. Macdonald has termed it a “short-term” issue.

• Running back Jacardia Wright returned to practice Monday after being sidelined for two weeks.
