SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Seahawks Injury Report: 5 out, 2 questionable vs Commanders

Oct 31, 2025, 2:16 PM | Updated: 2:23 pm

The Seattle Seahawks ruled out veteran safety Julian Love (hamstring) and listed wide receiver Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) and defensive lineman Jarran Reed (wrist) as questionable for Sunday night’s Week 9 road matchup against the Washington Commanders.

Why the Seahawks aren’t getting more national attention

Seattle also ruled out wide receiver Jake Bobo (Achilles), wide receiver Dareke Young (quad), tight end Eric Saubert (calf) and guard Christian Haynes (pectoral) on Friday’s game status report.

The good news: Two-time All-Pro cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee), edge rusher Derick Hall (oblique) and rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts (ankle) each appear on track to return to the lineup Sunday night, as none of the three players carried a game status designation on Friday’s report.

Love will miss his fourth straight game and his fifth overall after experiencing a setback in his recovery last week.

Witherspoon, meanwhile, is on track to play for the first time since Week 4. The talented 2023 first-round pick has missed five of Seattle’s seven games this season.

Hall is on track to return after missing the past two games. Ouzts, who returned to practice this week off injured reserve, is on track to return after missing the past four games.

With Kupp questionable and Bobo and Young both out, that leaves NFL receiving leader Jaxon Smith-Njigba and rookie Tory Horton as the only two wideouts on Seattle’s 53-man roster who aren’t on the injury report.

The Seahawks likely will have to elevate multiple receivers from their practice squad. Their four practice squad receivers are Cody White, rookie Ricky White III, rookie Tyrone Broden and rookie Courtney Jackson.

Radio coverage of Sunday’s 5:20 p.m. game will begin on Seattle Sports at 2 p.m. with the pregame show.
