The Seattle Seahawks are in the process of trimming their roster from 91 to 53 players ahead of Sunday’s 3 p.m. NFL cutdown deadline.

Seahawks officially sign Terrion Arnold amid CB’s legal issues

As a refresher, if a player with fewer than four accrued seasons of NFL service time is cut, he is subject to waivers. Teams have until 10 a.m. Monday to make claims for those players. Players who go unclaimed become free agents and can sign with any team.

If a player with at least four accrued seasons is cut, he is outright released. These players immediately become free agents and can sign with any team.

In addition to the 53-man roster, teams are allowed to carry up to 16 players on their practice squad – or 17 players if one of those players is part of the NFL’s International Pathway Program. Players who are released or who make it through waivers often sign with the practice squad of the team that cut them.

Below is a list of Seahawks roster cuts that have been reported. We’ll continue to update this list until the Seahawks announce their initial 53-man roster later in the day.
