Seahawks sign undrafted rookie wide receiver

The Seattle Seahawks signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Kyre Duplessis on Wednesday.

Duplessis, 24, amassed 83 receptions for 1,172 yards and six touchdowns over five college seasons at Coastal Carolina and Delaware. He transferred to Delaware for his final season in 2025 and posted career highs for of 60 receptions, 824 receiving yards and five receiving TDs. He also added a score on a punt return while earning first-team All-Conference USA honors.

A native of Woodbridge, Virginia, Duplessis spent some time with the Detroit Lions over the offseason being released June 17.

Duplessis was among five players to tryout for the Seahawks Wednesday, per The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta. The others were wide receiver Matthew Henry, defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs and defensive backs Jarod Washington and Donovan Wilson.

The Seahawks had an open spot on their roster for Duplessis after waiving running back Kenny McIntosh on Monday. McIntosh, who had been placed on the physically unable to perform list prior to be waived, went unclaimed through waivers and is now free to sign with any team.
