Seahawks inactives: Injuries hold 4 players out vs 49ers

The fact that just four players are the extent of the Seahawks’ injury list against the 49ers on Sunday is pretty encouraging for this time of year.

The Seahawks aren’t completely healthy.

Safety Shalom Luani (hip), fullback Tre Madden (chest), defensive tackle Shamar Stephen (foot) and linebacker K.J. Wright (knee) are inactive for Sunday’s game against San Francisco.

Preview: 3 players to watch as Seahawks host 49ers in Week 13

But the fact that’s the extent of Seattle’s injury list is pretty encouraging for this time of year. Cornerback Kalan Reed, offensive lineman Ethan Pocic and defensive end Rasheem Green round out Seattle’s list of inactive players.

Wright and Stephen are starters. Wright was out of town this week, receiving treatment on his troublesome knee. This is the third straight game he has missed because of that knee. He missed the first six games of the season recovering from arthroscopic surgery, a procedure that was done back in August.

The 49ers inactive players are receiver Marquise Goodwin, receiver Pierre Garcon, defensive back D.J. Reed, running back Alfred Morris, offensive lineman Joshua Garnett, offensive lineman Shon Coleman and defensive lineman D.J. Jones.
