Williams, a 2025 All-Pro in his 12 NFL season, was hurt on a second-and-goal play midway through the fourth quarter Sunday and did not return. Head coach Mike Macdonald on Monday told Seattle Sports’ Brock and Salk he was “optimistic” Williams would be able to play this Sunday against the rival San Francisco 49ers.

Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and linebacker Chazz Surratt (calf) did not practice on Wednesday. Smith-Njigba was a resting player and did not carry an injury designation.

Safety Ty Okada (hamstring) was a full participant in practice for just the second time during the regular season. He missed the team’s first four games.

Other limited participants for Seattle on Wednesday were running back Zach Charbonnet (knee), running back George Holani (ribs), wide receiver Irv Charles (knee), guard Beau Stephens (knee), linebacker Tyrice Knight (ankle) and cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett (ankle).

Macdonald on Monday said Charbonnet would not play this week.
