UW Huskies release full 2025-26 men’s hoops schedule

The Big Ten announced its men’s basketball schedule for the 2025-26 season Thursday, meaning the full slate of games for the UW Huskies is now set.

The Huskies, who begin the regular season Nov. 3 with a non-league home game against the Arkansas Pine-Bluff, kick off conference action at home Dec. 3 against the UCLA Bruins.

UW is set to face UCLA, USC and Oregon twice, and each of the remaining members of the 18-team conference one time during league play.

The Big Ten schedule also features a couple new venues for the Huskies, who will be making their first-ever trips to play at Rutgers and at Maryland. Additionally, Penn State will play its first-ever game at Hec Edmundson Pavilion in Seattle.

UW squares off with two (Oregon and UCLA) of the eight Big Ten teams that reached the NCAA Tournament twice over its 20-game conference schedule. The remaining six reigning NCAA Tournament qualifiers from the league each play the Huskies once. Three are at home (Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin), and three are on the road (Illinois, Maryland and Purdue).

The Huskies’ slate includes a particularly tough stretch to start the new year, with back-to-back road games against Indiana and Purdue followed by home matchups against Ohio State, reigning Big Ten Tournament champion Michigan and defending Big Ten regular season champion Michigan State. Purdue, Michigan and Michigan State each won at least one game in the NCAA Tournament last season.

UW’s matchups with rival Oregon are at home Jan. 26 and on the road during their regular season finale March 7.

The Big Ten Tournament runs March 10-15 at United Center in Chicago. In a change from last year, all 18 teams will participate.

The Huskies’ non-conference slate, which was released in late July, features 11 regular season games. UW travels to Pullman to face the rival WSU Cougars on Nov. 14 and plays its annual rivalry clash with Seattle U at Climate Pledge Arena on Dec. 19.

Additionally, the Huskies face 2025 NCAA Tournament qualifier Baylor on the road Nov. 9 and make a trip for two games at the Acrisure Holiday Invitational, starting Nov. 27 against Nevada.

The Huskies went 13-18 overall and finished last in the Big Ten at 4-16 last season in their first year under head coach Danny Sprinkle.
