The Seattle Mariners are less than two weeks away from adding their next group of draft picks to the organization.
2 Mariners prospects selected for All-Star Futures Game
The Mariners hold the 24th overall pick in the 2026 MLB Draft. The two-day event starts Saturday, July 11 with rounds 1-4 and concludes with rounds 5-20 the following day.
Below is a look at who four prominent outlets have the Mariners taking in the first round of mock drafts.
Tegan Kuhns, RHP, Tennessee
• Age: 20 | 6-3, 193
• Projected by MLB Pipeline’s Jim Callis
What Callis wrote: “The Mariners could kick off a run on college arms with Kuhns, (Hunter) Dietz, (Logan) Reddemann, (Cole) Carlon and Mississippi right-hander Cade Townsend among the leading contenders. (Trevor) Condon would be attractive if he got this far.”
Taylor Rabe, RHP, Ole Miss
• Age: 21 | 6-6, 220
• Projected by Baseball America’s Carlos Collanzo
What Collanzo wrote: “Rabe was one of the big draft prospect winners of the College World Series. He finished the season with a 3.55 ERA in 11 starts and 76 innings with a 34.2% strikeout rate and 4.9% walk rate. Like the Cubs, the Mariners are connected to plenty of college arms. If they made it here, names like Tegan Kuhns or Cameron Flukey and Liam Peterson could make sense. Bats like Zion Rose, Taj Marchand and Bo Lowrance could fit, too. This also feels like a hard floor for Trevor Condon, but he has so many realistic landing spots in front of this pick that I’d be surprised if he even got here.”
Carson Bolemon, LHP, Southside Christian School
• Age: 19 | 6-4, 210
• Projected by The Athletic’s Keith Law
What Law wrote: “I’ve heard Seattle as one of the few teams on high school pitching in the first round, which — while that’s not my preferred strategy — has some merit in a year when the strength of the draft is that category of player, especially once you get past pick 20 or so. That could be Bolemon, Logan Schmidt or Brody Bumila, if he’s here. Beyond those names, the pick would probably be a player with an under-slot deal.”

Bo Lowrance, 3B, Christ Church Episcopal High School
• Age: 18 | 6-5, 200
• Projected by ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel
What McDaniel wrote: “I’ve mentioned that Lowrance has a whiff of Freddie Freeman to him and I’m not the only evaluator coming to that conclusion about the lanky, lefty-hitting 6-5 prep prospect. It could take a bit longer for him to move through the minors than it will for the college players in this area of the draft and he might move to a corner outfield spot, but the M’s need to backfill their system as the top of it arrives in Seattle.”
Bo Lowrance launched an absolute moonshot last night — a grand slam and his third homer of the spring.
Length, bat-to-ball skills, and power projection make for a really fun all-around offensive profile. He's up to No. 59 on our updated draft board. pic.twitter.com/78kL0AM4me

THE BEST starting pitcher in the entire organization is Kade Anderson and he's blocked by Castillo. Mason Peters, is almost as good as Anderson and both would comfortably pitch now at the major league level.
