Mariners’ Julio Rodríguez answers teammate superlatives
Julio Rodríguez shared his thoughts on several oddball questions about his teammates with ESPN's Mina Kimes.

Seattle Mariners center fielder Julio Rodríguez is known to have fun-loving demeanor on the baseball field.
Rodríguez can often be seen playfully ribbing his teammates and opponents. And even when things aren’t going well, the three-time All-Star often has a smile on his face.
Mariners’ road trip ends with more injury concerns
Rodríguez recently joined ESPN’s Mina Kimes on the “Mina Kimes Show featuring Lenny” to discuss the heartbreak of last year’s playoff exit, the expectations for the M’s this season and more.
Fittingly, he got to have a little fun at the end of the interview during a teammate superlatives segment where Rodríguez had answer some oddball questions about his teammates.

I think Josh (Naylor) and Randy (Arozarena), they do a good job.
• Who is most likely to become a manager?
J.P.
• Who would you want to have your back in a fight on the field?
J.P. I would definitely like J.P. to have my back, I trust him for that.
• Who is the most likely to go on “Love Island?”
I would put (Bryan) Woo in it. I’d put Woo or I would put like Cole Young.
• Who is the person you don’t want to play cards with?
I would not want to play cards with Dominic Canzone because I feel like he’s gonna get my money.
• Who is the best wingman?
I would say me. I’m definitely the best wingman on the team.
• Who is the most likely to go to bed before 9 p.m.?
I would say Logan Gilbert. That’s an easy one.
• Who is the person you would want to date your sister? And who is the person you least want to date your sister?
The person I would least want to date my sister? Cole Young. And the person I would want to date my sister? Nobody from the team.
• Who is the best teammate to be stuck on a desert island with?
If I had to be stuck on a desert island with one of my teammates, I would pick my homie J.P.
