A benefit any time the Mariners play on Apple’s Friday Night Baseball is that you can change the audio feed for the game to the Seattle Sports radio broadcast, featuring announcers Rick Rizzs and Gary Hill Jr.
To change the audio from the Apple announcers to the Seattle Sports radio call, click the circular waveform icon – above the timeline and to the right of the button for subtitles (the subtitles icon looks like a quote box). Once you click on the waveform icon, it will give the options to choose the TV audio or either team’s radio feed.
If you don’t have Apple TV, you can still listen to the radio broadcast of Friday’s game live for free on Seattle Sports 710 AM, the Seattle Sports app or streaming at SeattleSports.com starting at 5:30 p.m. with the pregame show. For details on how to stream Mariners Radio Broadcasts from Seattle Sports, click here.
If you’re watching Mariners games this season with the new Mariners.TV streaming subscription service, that also gives you the capability to listen to the Seattle Sports radio audio with the TV broadcast. To switch the audio on the app, it’s a similar process as on Apple, with the icon you need to click on looking like a radio tower. If you’re using your Mariners.TV subscription on the ESPN app, there is a waveform icon that will give you the option to choose the radio audio.
