Tegan Kuhns, RHP, Tennessee

• Age: 20 | 6-3, 193
• Projected by MLB Pipeline’s Jim Callis

What Callis wrote: “Kuhns was making a move by allowing four runs in a span of five SEC starts before Kentucky roughed him up last weekend. He spins the ball very well, creating carry on a mid-90s fastball and downer break on an upper-70s curveball that both grade as plus offerings.”

Logan Reddemann, RHP, UCLA

• Age: 21 | 6-2, 200
• Projected by Baseball America’s Carlos Collazo

What Collazo wrote: “Several weeks ago, it would have seemed unlikely that Reddemann would make it this far down the board. But he hasn’t pitched since April 17, which will create more volatility. If he returns to the mound and looks the same, he easily fits in the 10-20 range, and he was even being considered by some teams as a backup option inside the first 10 picks. Reddemann’s command is among the best in the class.”

What Law wrote: “I’ve heard more bats than arms at the Mariners’ pick, but also that’s what’s mostly on the board at this point – and the Mariners haven’t taken a high school pitcher with their first pick since 2010. (Guess who it was.) Gracia and Sawyer Strosnider would fit, but I’d be zero percent surprised to see them grab one of those high school bats I mentioned with Detroit.”
