The Seattle Mariners were in desperate need of something good after blowing a two-run lead in the ninth inning. Randy Arozarena gave them just that with one big swing that won the game.
Arozarena hit a two-run home run in the top of the 10th inning to lift the Mariners past the Baltimore Orioles 6-5 on Tuesday night.

The Mariners improved to 36-32 and guaranteed themselves at least a split of the four-game series with the victory.
After the M’s surrendered their lead during a disastrous bottom of the ninth, Arozarena stepped up to the plate to lead off the 10th and swatted a slider well off the plate away from right-hander Rico Garcia over the high wall in right field at Camden Yards for a 6-4 lead.
The go-ahead blast traveled 360 feet and came off the bat at 100.4 mph for Arozarena’s seventh home run of the season.
Rookie right-hander Nick Davila, who was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, pitched the bottom half of the 10th and got some help from his defense to earn his first career save.
After Baltimore had already plated a run, second baseman Ryan Bliss made a spectacular diving catch in shallow right field with runners on first and third for the first out of the inning.
Then third baseman Patrick Wisdom fired home on a grounder just in time to nab Jeremiah Jackson at the plate for the second out as he attempted to score the tying run.
Davila struck out Tyler O’Neill swinging on a sinker to shut the door in the 10th.
