Lineups: Mariners looking for sweep against Rangers

After another James Paxton gem Saturday night, the Mariners are in line for a rare home sweep of the Rangers in their Sunday afternoon tilt.

Seattle last swept the Rangers on April 27-29, 2015 at Texas and have not run the table at Safeco Field against their rivals since September of 2007.

Hisashi Iwakuma will be on the mound for Seattle paired against lefty Cole Hamels. Iwakuma has had success missing Rangers’ bats throughout his career, posting a 4.24 strikeout-to-walk ratio (89 K, 21 BB).

Guillermo Heredia will bat leadoff for the Mariners in the 1:10 game, which can be heard on 710 ESPN Seattle. Carlos Ruiz will catch and bat eighth.
