Lineups: Danny Valencia back in 2 hole for Mariners vs Rockies

The lineup the Mariners are going with in Game 2 of their four-game series against the Rockies on Tuesday includes first baseman Danny Valencia hitting second.

Valencia has been one of Seattle’s hotter hitters in May, posting a .311 average (28 for 90) with seven extra-base hits, 12 RBIs and a .367 on-base percentage in 23 games this month. He went 1 for 4 white hitting second in the order on Saturday then was back in his more familiar sixth spot the next two games.

Ariel Miranda is on the hill for the Mariners. He’ll be opposed by Rockies left-hander Tyler Anderson, who will deliver first pitch at 4:10. Pregame coverage begins at 3 on 710 ESPN Seattle.
