Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold just proved why you should be tuned into the Seattle Sports video stream.

Seahawks Roster Move: A D-tackle named Thor enters the fold

In the middle of Wednesday’s edition of Bump and Stacy from Seahawks headquarters in Renton, a recognizable figure just happened to appear over the shoulder of host and former NFL wide receiver Michael Bumpus.

Yeah, it was Darnold, who had wandered into the shot while getting in some stretching before practice. That’s because Seattle Sports has the best seat in the house, facing the practice field while also being situated right in front of the Hawks’ workout room.

The question is, did Darnold realize he was walking into the shot? Did he realize a few moments in that he was camera? Did he lean into the fact that he was on camera? Did he retreat after figuring it out? Or is this all going to be news to him when somebody sends him a message with a link to this article?

Frankly, we can’t wait to hear his answer. Maybe he’ll join Bump and Stacy on set to give us the lowdown. I mean, they’re right there. And after all, Seahawks have been sitting down with the Seattle Sports hosts left and right since training camp began last week.

The 28-year-old Darnold is entering his first season as the Seahawks quarterback after making his first career Pro Bowl last season with the Minnesota Vikings. He and the Hawks open the preseason on Thursday, Aug. 7 at Seattle’s Lumen Field against Pete Carroll’s Las Vegas Raiders. Radio coverage will be carried on Seattle Sports 710 AM and the Seattle Sports app.
