In three seasons with Hawaii, Ursua had 2,662 yards on 189 receptions. His productivity soared in 2018, when he had 89 catches for 1,343 yards and led the nation with 16 receiving touchdowns. The 5-feet-10, 175-pound Ursua lined up primarily in the slot, adding depth to a wide receiver group facing the potential departure of veteran slot receiver Doug Baldwin.
