After making what was expected to be their final pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Seahawks gave up a 2020 sixth-round pick to trade back into the seventh round and add Hawaii wide receiver John Ursua.

A look at all 11 of the Seahawks’ 2019 draft picks

Ursua, selected 236th overall, is the third wide receiver drafted by Seattle this year. The Seahawks took Mississippi’s D.K. Metcalf 64th overall and West Virginia’s Gary Jennings at 120th overall.

In three seasons with Hawaii, Ursua had 2,662 yards on 189 receptions. His productivity soared in 2018, when he had 89 catches for 1,343 yards and led the nation with 16 receiving touchdowns. The 5-feet-10, 175-pound Ursua lined up primarily in the slot, adding depth to a wide receiver group facing the potential departure of veteran slot receiver Doug Baldwin.
